Thank you for your ever watchful eye and encouragement going up Kilimanjaro. We had 100% trust in your leadership and we know that we were in the safest hands at all times.

Africa has something to offer and excite everyone, no matter what their taste and requirements. We take great care in designing our itineraries to suit your individual needs. We understand that a trip to Africa for most people is a dream come true.

There are so many ways to experience Africa. We believe that it is crucial to have someone who really understands this incredible continent to advise and guide you so that you will get the most out of your safari. A custom designed holiday ensures that your safari fulfills (and preferably exceeds!) your dreams. If variety is the spice of life – then a safari in Africa is the perfect tonic to revive your senses!

Here are some examples of the various activities that we offer:

Walking Safaris

To fully immerse ourselves in the African bush we recommend leaving the confines of a car and get out on foot. Whether it is tracking a black rhino in the Matusadona wilderness, or stumbling across an African Monarch butterfly as it emerges from its Chrysallis there is so much to see in this incredible environment and no better way to experience it than whilst out walking. Walking safaris can be adapted to suit everyone and include short leisurely strolls around the camp to treks over several days.

Game drives

Relax in the comfort of first class safari vehicles - it is an excellent way to view the huge variety of game. Take a front row seat! The experience of watching a lion kill or cheetah stalking an impala is second to none. Early morning game drives; all day excursions with a delicious picnic; or night drives to watch the nocturnal activities of the African Bush!

Horse Riding Safaris

Once you have galloped with Giraffe, strolled with Zebra and watched Hippo from the back of a horse – you will never want to get back in a vehicle again! This is a magical and unique way of game viewing that makes you feel at one with the wildlife. Horse riding is available in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia or Malawi.

Elephant Safaris

Whoever said that the African Elephant couldn’t be tamed! Several locations throughout Africa now offer the unique and enthralling experience of getting up close and personal to Africa’s gentle giant. Whether you decide to actually ride, or to just walk alongside a herd as they trundle through the bush this is the experience of a lifetime. For the adventurous there is always the chance to join in at bath time too!

Balloon Safaris

Picture this... gliding silently over the Masai Mara plains as the sun rises on the horizon, watching the Wildebeest graze and then scatter. A lion lazily watches a heard of Thompson Gazelle whilst soaking up the sun's morning rays. A balloon safari literally shows you Africa from a new perspective! And what better way to end the morning than with a champagne breakfast on the open plains?

Fishing

You don't have to be a professional angler to enjoy the huge variety of fishing opportunities in Africa. Experience deep sea game-fishing off the Kenyan coast or fly fishing in the exquisite Zambezi River. From marlin to trout - Africa can offer it all!

White Water Rafting

One for the adrenaline junkies! Tackle 23km of the legendary rapids of the Zambezi and the brave will be rewarded with the knowledge that they have conquered the famous rapids known as ‘Stairway to Heaven’, ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ and ‘Oblivion’!! After all the excitement, have a good nights sleep at a wonderfully serene beach camp site.

Canoeing

For those who want to enjoy the Zambezi River at a slower pace, why not take a canoe down a gentle winding stretch of the river? Effortlessly drift downstream in true tranquillity – there are no engine noises or smells of diesel to interfere with this serene setting. This is one of the best ways to get close to the assortment of birdlife of the river banks, and the animals don’t seem to get alarmed by our presence either – paddling alongside a bull elephant as he swims out to an island is a truly magical experience. Or perhaps sit back and enjoy being ‘punted’ through the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro – let someone else take the strain whist you watch giraffe drink in the cool water, the red Lechwe bound through the clear delta and the elephant take a noisy bath!
